A General Plan establishes a community’s vision and guides its physical, economic and social development for the next 15 to 20 years. State law requires every city to adopt a General Plan. The Twentynine Palms Draft General Plan has been complete and is available for public review. The City has established a public review period consistent with that of the Draft EIR. The public comment period for the Draft General Plan is from August 16, 2010 through September 29, 2010. To download a copy of the Draft General Plan, click here. A printed copy of the Draft General Plan is also available for public review at the City’s Community Development Department and at the City’s Public Library.
