The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) establishes the environmental review process for City initiated projects, such as the General Plan Update. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) has been prepared for the project. The project includes the Updated General Plan, Update to the City’s Development Code, the Downtown Economic Revitalization Specific Plan and the proposed Development Impact Fee Program. CEQA requires a 45-day public comment period. The public comment period for the Draft EIR is from August 16, 2010 through September 29, 2010. To download a copy of the Draft EIR, click here. A printed copy of the Draft EIR is also available for public review at the City’s Community Development Department and at the City’s Public Library.
