The cornerstone to any comprehensive general plan update effort is community involvement.  The Twentynine Palms General Plan Update includes an array of opportunities in which the community can get involved.  These opportunities include:

• A Community Survey

• Stakeholder Interviews

• General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) Meetings

• Community Workshops

• City Council and Planning Commission Public Hearings

• Formal written comments for the various components of the General Plan effort, including the Draft General Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report, can be submitted as well.

To keep the community informed regarding the General Plan Update, several newsletters will be published and a website will be maintained with the most up-to-date information.
